HE Ahmed Bin Shafar: "District cooling is an ideal cooling solution that replaces conventional systems, bringing benefits to environment, economy and users”
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), world’s largest district cooling services provider, has urged real estate developers participating in the four-day “Big 5” exhibition 2016, that kicked off today (November 21 2016), at the World Trade Center in Dubai, to put district cooling on top of their priority list. The Big 5 show attracts thousands of exhibitors and trade visitors from around the world, including real estate developers and construction companies.
Empower’s call comes at a time when the company is promoting the benefits of district cooling in conserving environmental resources, supporting green buildings, enhancing cost efficiency in operations and maintenance as well as enhancing quality of chilling services.
“The time has come to move away from conventional chilling services in favor of district cooling that is environmentally friendly and consumes less energy offering quality services to end-users,” said HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
“The Big 5 exhibition is an ideal platform to highlight district cooling and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and we aim to use it to promote ideal cooling solutions and highlight the innovative features offered by this technology to all stake holders,” added HE Bin Shafar.
