Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER) has announced its participation in the upcoming Careers UAE 2006 exhibition as part of its strategic efforts in support of the government’s Emiratization policy. The exhibition will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 23 to 25.
The exhibition is organized by Dubai World Trade Centre - in conjunction with TANMIA, Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University and UAE University - and under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Industry and the Chairman of Dubai World Trade Centre.
Careers UAE Exhibition provides a favorable atmosphere for educational and training institutions and prospective employers from various industries in the UAE to identify promising students to satisfy actual needs of the labor market. Furthermore, the exhibition will provide a viable platform for companies and institutions to familiarize the community and potential hires with their roles and services.
“Careers UAE exhibition is where industry and education sectors work together to forge their partnership in supporting students and developing industries in the UAE,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower. “We hope to do our part in supporting our community and contributing to the sustainability of our local and regional markets.”
Empower was established on December 25, 2003, and is a joint venture between Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai technology and Media Free Zone (TECOM), providing energy-efficient services in Dubai and the region.
“Given our connection to Dubai and the UAE, we strongly encourage young and promising UAE nationals to attend the exhibition and see for themselves how they can contribute in building our country,” said Bin Shafar. “At the same time, we encourage them to meet with Empower representatives to identify ways how together we can play an active role in driving our country’s – and region’s – development.”
