Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, celebrated the UAE’s 53rd National Day in a patriotic atmosphere at its headquarters. H.E. Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, attended the event along with the company staff, which featured various patriotic and heritage activities.
Bin Shafar extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; Their Highnesses the Crown Princes; and all citizens and residents of the UAE on the occasion of the 53rd UAE National Day.
Bin Shafar emphasized that celebrating the UAE’s National Day reaffirms loyalty to wise leadership and commitment to the nation. He pledged continued hard work and dedication, leveraging the capabilities of the UAE nationals to preserve its achievements and contribute to shaping the country’s future over the next 50 years, aspiring to make the UAE the best nation in the world by its centennial in 2071.
"On this historic day in 1971, the Union of the Arab Emirates was declared, marking the most successful unification experience in the Arab world. It was the beginning of a journey of development, progress, and a blessed renaissance that has elevated the UAE to the distinguished position it deserves, reflecting its rich history and cultural heritage", the CEO said.
“We pray to the Almighty to continue protecting the UAE and bless it with security and safety and to direct our steps to continue our sincere efforts to promote the competitiveness of the UAE and make it the world’s leading nation”, Bin Shafar concluded.
