Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, reaffirmed its continuous dedication to the well-being of its employees and proactive risk management, having recorded zero workplace injuries in 2024. This achievement highlights the effectiveness of Empower’s comprehensive health, safety, and environment (HSE) strategy.
In celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, Empower announced the successful completion of 1,799 comprehensive HSE inspections across all its sites last year, reinforcing the robustness of its model work environment for team health and safety.
The company conducted 1,513 inspections at its plant sites, 128 targeted inspections focusing on high-risk work environments, and 158 detailed inspections for tasks requiring immediate attention — all underlining Empower’s dedication to maintaining a safe workplace.
Additionally, Empower delivered 1,544 specialized safety training sessions, attended by 7,906 participants and totaling 3,438 working hours. These sessions covered essential topics including safety protocols, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance.
This ongoing training reflects Empower’s strong commitment to raising awareness and fostering a safer work environment. As a result, the company achieved an impressive 6,017,626 safe working hours in 2024, further validating the effectiveness of its preventive measures.
To ensure the sustainability of its safety standards, Empower has adopted a comprehensive Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policy, implemented across all departments and subject to continuous monitoring.
