Empower is committed to minimizing its environmental impact through the following initiatives:

  • Optimizing energy efficiency and increasing the utilization of renewable energy across Empower’s operations to reduce carbon emissions and support the UAE Net Zero 2050 goals.
  • Enhancing water efficiency and reducing the water footprint by implementing best practices in water utilization across all Empower plants, with the objective of achieving 100% recycled water usage by 2030.
  • Promoting sustainable resource utilization and conservation through waste reduction, recycling, and responsible disposal practices across all areas of the business.
  • Encouraging environmentally responsible behavior among employees, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Incorporating life cycle management principles in the design and development of plant assets to minimize environmental impact.
  • Implementing Environmental Management Systems in line with the international standard ISO 14001.
